Buy Some New Bats

In a game where the umpire's strikezone changed from pitch-to-pitch, B'nai was able to string their walks together with some clutch hits, while our walks ended in men left on base.

After two games we're batting about .250 with no extra-base hits. That's unacceptable in baseball, let alone in softball. Maybe we need to buy some new bats that have a full allotment of hits in them. Or maybe we need to eat our clutch flakes on Sunday mornings. Whatever the solution, let's find it for next week.

Stats are up here.
